Copy Cats

Get ready for a blast with Copy Cats, an addictive and intuitive 2D pixel art platformer, puzzles, and logic in 2D pixel art, where your main goal is to guide a daring blue cat with a red scarf through a virtual laboratory, solving intricate puzzles to reach the green exit portal and escape this blocky world.

The game’s main appeal lies in its ingenious mechanics involving loyal but reckless clones. Starting in level 4, the copying machines will create white feline replicas that mimic your every step and jump in real time. Although a clone will jump straight into the spikes if you do, you can use the map’s architecture to desynchronize their positions, using them as living stepping stones to reach elevated platforms or to send the copies to collect dangerous keys while you stay safe. With 20 progressively difficult levels, intuitive touch and keyboard controls, and a charming retro aesthetic, each stage will require strategic planning before you take your first step!

What are the main features of the game Copy Cats?

  • Control both the main cat and her white clones simultaneously—they’ll instantly mimic all your movements.
  • Desynchronize your clones and guide them against walls to position them strategically, or jump on their heads to gain height.
  • Activate keys from a distance using your clones, dodge deadly traps, and manage copying machines.

Use ledges and vertical walls to slow down a clone while the main cat continues moving forward. Since the clones respond to exactly the same buttons but from their own coordinates, causing a clone to collide with a wall will readjust the relative distance between them. Adjusting the spacing between your cat and her clones will let you solve puzzles with distant keys or create ladders exactly where you need them!
